To see the whole set, go to the left column, under Hot Links and click on DEQ Air Quality map which will bring up a map with many additional state monitors. Round icons represent permanent state air quality monitors, triangular icons represent temporary smoke monitors (when deployed).

Burn Operations Commence on Sunflower Wildfire to Strengthen Containment
Incident: Sunflower Fire Wildfire Released: 3 hrs. ago
The weather is favorable enough to allow firefighters on the Sunflower wildfire to being burn operations in the Big Willow Spring Creek drainage to strengthen the containment line. Smoke may be visible from Monument, Oregon. So far, crews are making good progress.
