South Fork Complex Fire creates large smoke plume this afternoon

This afternoon the South Fork Complex fire reached heavy timber resulting in a very hot fire that produced an impressive smoke plume.  The first image below was taken at 5 pm.  The second was taken at 6 pm and the last taken at 7 pm.  These images were taken by the NOAA GOES fire imagery. This afternoon's smoke from the South Fork Complex fire appears to be transported northwards into Morrow County.
