36 Pit Fire: Comparisons from ODEQ Temporary AQ Monitors - Estacada, Molalla, Rhododendron (Friday, September 19, 2014)

ODEQ Temporary Air Quality Monitor Locations

Estacada and the Clackamas River Valley has been experiencing UNHEALTHY air quality for a few hours the past two mornings as smoke drains down the valley overnight.  This pattern is expected to continue, although winds from the north and east Saturday morning may battle the downstream flow.

Air quality in Molalla has been good the last couple of days, but is expected to degrade Saturday and Sunday as the changing winds bring smoke towards the area from the 36 Pit Fire.
The Mt. Hood Highway has seen good air quality since Thursday afternoon.  This pattern is expected to continue through mid-day Sunday.
