Satellite Image of Wildfire Smoke in Oregon

The image below was taken yesterday afternoon from the Modis Aqua satellite.  Smoke can be seen blowing west from the Whitewater fire into the middle Willamette Valley.  Smoke from the Spruce Lake and Blanket Creek fires could be seen blowing west into south central Oregon.  A little smoke can be seen in the area of the Chetco Bar fire.  Smoke from a new fire - the Cinder Butte fire in the southeastern part of the state between Bend and Burns could be seen as well.
