Smoke Forecast for Willamette National Forest Fires (including Whitewater -- Sept. 13, 2017)


  1. I presume you are aware that the DEQ monitoring station is "not reporting" in Sweet Home? It has been down since yesterday at 7 AM. I went down to the fire station to let them know it was not reporting, and was told that it is DEQ equipment and that DEQ maintained it...

  2. Hi Gary, DEQ is aware the monitor is down and we're working to fix it. Just as an FYI, our monitors are all on our Air Quality Index. The map above includes portable monitors, Lane Regional Air Protection Agency monitors, and Forest Service monitors.
