Guidance on Holding School Outdoor Activities During Wildfire Smoke

We know a lot of you have questions as the school year rapidly approaches about how best to protect students and student athletes. Check out this video from the Oregon Health Authority on its Public Health Guidance: School Outdoor Activities During Wildfire Events. You can find the color-coded primer and additional information for parents and educators under the Smoke and Health tab above. There's also a great frequently asked questions document that focuses on the whole family.

OHA also has fact sheets and other resources online in a number of languages that go into more detail. Check those out (scroll down and select wildfire smoke).
