Map Notes:

The map above is not able to show all state air quality monitors. To see the whole set, go to the Air Quality Now tab below
and click on DEQ's Air Quality Index which will bring up a map with many additional state monitors. Round icons represent permanent state air quality monitors, triangular icons represent temporary smoke monitors (when deployed).

  1. Hi, OR Smoke Bloggers. Thanks for the report. What is this best data to look at to get a sense of the air quality forecast for Crater Lake for this weekend? Do you have thoughts for that location? Should I look the "Chiloquin Fire Dept" monitoring site? Or at your forecast for Medford? Thanks in advance!

    1. It never hurts to look at those monitors especially if you're traveling through those areas, but you could check out conditions at the park by visiting its website. They have webcams and an alert section: https://www.nps.gov/crla/index.htm. Have a great weekend!
