NOAA provides big picture on smoke

A recent smoke forecast from NOAA for the Western U.S.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Smoke Forecasting System uses data from a variety of sources including satellite information, various smoke dispersion simulations and more to forecast smoke conditions. Check out NOAA's Air Resources Laboratory to find the latest 48-hour forecasts, model details and other great resources.
