Where There's Smoke...

Air Resource Adviser Carolyn Kelly snapped this photo of the Flounce Fire about 12 miles northeast of Shady Cove on Monday night.

The Oregon Department of Forestry's Southwest Oregon District shared an update on the fire this morning on Facebook.

ODF provides regular updates on fires burning on department-protected land on its blog and you can also get the latest information on a number of wildfires burning around the state on InciWeb.

Remember to check this blog for smoke advisories and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality's Air Quality Index.
