Oregon Smoke Information

Map Notes:

The map above is not able to show all state air quality monitors. To see the whole set, go to the left column, under Hot Links
and click on DEQ Air Quality map which will bring up a map with many additional state monitors. Round icons represent permanent state air quality monitors, triangular icons represent temporary smoke monitors (when deployed).

School outdoor activity during wildfire events

We know lots of schools, parents and players are concerned about how wildfire smoke will affect practices and games. Here's some great guidance from the Oregon Healthy Authority. And here's a nifty fact sheet that you can print out for your fridge. (People still do that in this age of smart phones right?)

Also, check out this memo from the Oregon School Activities Association on air quality recommendations.
