Oregon Smoke Information

Map Notes:

The map above is not able to show all state air quality monitors. To see the whole set, go to the left column, under Hot Links
and click on DEQ Air Quality map which will bring up a map with many additional state monitors. Round icons represent permanent state air quality monitors, triangular icons represent temporary smoke monitors (when deployed).

  1. I truly appreciate all the info you all collate here! It's really been helping me with my (usually very mild) breathing issues in all the smoke!

Just a note though: When you post reports as images, like in this post, they are TOTALLY inaccessible to blind & visually impaired users who use screen readers. Not to mention that they are hard to read on mobile devices. Glad to give you info if you would like to change that! (Normally, I would send this in a private message, but couldn't find any other way to contact except via comment on a post.)

    1. Hi Bet, I'm glad you find the site useful even though you raise good points about the importance of accessibility. I will certainly bring this issue up and would be happy to hear more. Feel free to email me directly at benenati.katherine@deq.or.state.us.
