With so much of the Rogue Valley being affected by wildfire smoke, we wanted to share some local resources you can check for regular updates.
Jackson County and Jackson County Health & Human Services both have news on current wildfires, including updated maps, evacuation notices and more. You can sign up for citizen alerts as well. Follow them on Facebook (@jacksoncountyhealthandhumanservices) and Twitter (@JacksonCountyOR).
Josephine County has emergency management information, current fire information and more. You can also follow Josephine County's Sheriff's Department on Facebook (@jcsosheriff).
Ashland is also providing regular updates on smoke as is the Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project through its SmokeWise Ashland page. Follow them on Facebook (@AFR.Project) and Twitter @ahslandforest.
ODF's Southwest Oregon District has been providing regular fire updates on its blog, Facebook (@ODFSouthwest) and Twitter (@swofire) pages.
